Local Boise band Partners with Abbey Road Studios

”Genre” or “scene” doesn’t directly apply to these Pacific Northwesterners whose ability to make a lot of noise is inspired by the fact that music in itself has the power to spark emotion, change, and shape lives. Unconventional and energetic, their image is a canvas littered with captivation and colorful landscapes. Early demos have ended up on playlists spanning across hard rock, alternative rock, indie pop and folk.

In January 2021 they released their debut self-titled EP. Also, in 2021 they started partnering with a ZMI Arcadia Records out of Atlanta in London to produce an acoustic mixtape and now are releasing their debut, full length album called Master & Machine in July. This album was recorded locally at the Tonic Room recording studio and is being mixed and mastered in London and Abbey Rd., Studios.
The band is composed of brothers Tyler Schlagenhauf, lead vocals and lead guitar, and Wes Schlagenhauf, bass guitar and backing vocals, and Jason Guadalupe on the drums.
You’ll catch MYLO BYBEE playing locally in the Boise area, including during Treefort Music Fest, and often times crossing the border over to Oregon and other states to play out of town gigs. They will be partnering with a Lost Grove Brewery and powerful pints for an album release party and to support and raise funds for Wish Grantors on July 29 from 5 to 8 PM. This event will be open to the public and all ages.
