    UrbanDuo, A Reflection of Style

Story by Lindsay Prigmore, Photos by Amanda Antilla

UrbanDuo is exactly what Boise is missing. It’s a stand-out furniture, gift, and decor boutique with true-to-the-root urban feel. Marley is the insanely talented design guru, and Abe is the down-to-earth Montana carpenter. Together they don’t do anything halfway and that dedication is evident in their shop.

You will feel right at home when you walk into UrbanDuo, or at least you will want to call it home and never leave!  The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the products are fresh and versatile. I was first introduced to them on their website, urbanduo.com, where I instantly fell in love with their style and made a personal connection with their story! But when I met up with the power couple, I felt like an old friend. They have a passion for what they do, and they both firmly believe in going after your dreams while pushing away life’s fears. One motto they live by is: “Life is way too short to spend time following. Make a path, paint the walls, start a beat – dance to it!”

Their boutique is constantly changing with a variety of eclectic products, new ideas, and design inspiration for every home style! You’ll come away inspired and you’re sure to never get bored! They are always searching for the perfect brands to feature in their shop, making sure to bring you quality and creative beauty all in one. They have international items arriving from across the globe, including Sweden and Canada. They bring a unique spice of life to their boutique that you just can’t find anywhere else in Boise.

Marley and Abe are all about making it ‘family,’ it’s a personal-level venture for them. They founded UrbanDuo with a wish to connect directly with their customers, and they do just that. They have created a phenomenal experience that is genuine while creating an urban style environment that makes you feel right at home.

UrbanDuo is already growing and the owners are shocked by the power of word-of-mouth. Marley is planning on starting her own design program soon. “So many customers know what style they want, but just struggle to get it there. I want to be able to incorporate my passion for design so that I can help them attain their style goals for all their living spaces,” Marley stated. This will give customers a chance to steal her brain and design power for their own home style needs and wants, while at the same time offering a discounted price on UrbanDuo purchases to accomplish their decorating and remodeling dreams.

You need to see UrbanDuo in person. They’re a lively enthusiastic crew with your creative heart in mind.  Plan on stopping by this seriously cool boutique for a chance to see the style you’ve always wanted, with an opportunity to finally have it!
